Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Neuro - is based on the theory that an individual experiences the world through their senses and translates this information into thought processes, both consciously and unconsciously.

Linguistic – refers to the way an individual uses language to make sense of the world and as a means of communicating experiences to others.

Programming – refers to the way an individual "codes" or mentally represents experience. An individual’s personal programming consists of internal processes and thinking patterns that they use in order to make decisions, learn, evaluate and problem solve.

NLP techniques can help a client to recode and re-evaluate their experiences and thus more effectively organise their internal processes in order to achieve their desired results.
